If I Aint Got You played at Timbre+ @ One North, which was very graciously recorded live and mixed by the talented sound engineer Faz. Please read his write up below and check out his Soundcloud page!

Timbre + One North

Called in to sub for a fellow engineer who couldn't make it to work this evening. At first, I was bummed out that I did not get the opportunity to mix for my friend's band as they are residents at this bar on Saturdays, however, the moment this substitute band, Blessings For A Good Day, played their very first song of their first set (which was this), I was blown away - PROPERLY Blown away.

I have been mixing for quite a while and it is rare to see bands genuinely look like they're having fun on stage. This was one of those rare bands. Their joy was infectious throughout their time on stage so much so that they pretty much revived a seemingly dead hawker centre. The crowd went INSANE. Them sneaking licks and random off beat syncos were a massive treat to other fellow musicians watching as well.

It was a pleasure mixing for them!

ALSO YES I LEFT THE DELAY ON AT THE VERY START. FORGIVE ME.

Members

Our members are well suited to play anything from a full blown 6 piece band, to a cosy duet for an intimate setting. Anything in between goes! Get in touch with us for inquiries for your next event.

Theophilus Darius Thomas

Vocals

Meet Theo, the lead singer of the band. He has been singing soul, blues, rock, and ballads for over a decade! He draws inspiration from legends like The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury, and Stevie Wonder. When he's not singing, he is trying out the best beers and briyani in town and honing his craft as a lawyer. Come jam with us over beers and briyani!

Nathaniel Tan

Saxophone, Guitar

Nathaniel plays guitar and sax! With deep influence from the blues, his playing will make you groove.

Kirish AJ

Guitar, Bass

Kirish is the guitar and bass player for the band! His musical influences have evolved from rock, funk, and jazz over the years. Sharing great music with everyone makes his job as an engineer that much more bearable.

Joses Yip

Bass

Our bass player, Joses, will make you bop til you can't stop. A soon to be pilot, if you have a chance to catch him playing it is an opportunity you definitely wouldn't want to miss!

Jazin Wee

Drums

Jazin, the resident drum major. His inspiration comes from the classic songs of the 80s and 90s, rock and dance tunes from TOTO Journey and many more.
