BFAGD is a live band that specializes in providing live music for events and bars. Our band consists of upbeat young musicians who have been playing together for almost 10 years. Timbre + One North
Called in to sub for a fellow engineer who couldn't make it to work this evening. At first, I was bummed out that I did not get the opportunity to mix for my friend's band as they are residents at this bar on Saturdays, however, the moment this substitute band, Blessings For A Good Day, played their very first song of their first set (which was this), I was blown away - PROPERLY Blown away.
I have been mixing for quite a while and it is rare to see bands genuinely look like they're having fun on stage. This was one of those rare bands. Their joy was infectious throughout their time on stage so much so that they pretty much revived a seemingly dead hawker centre. The crowd went INSANE. Them sneaking licks and random off beat syncos were a massive treat to other fellow musicians watching as well.
It was a pleasure mixing for them!
